...wait till Christmas to open it(per wife). When she goes to work tomorrow I'm going to open some boxes!
I can't complain to much, she let me open my New 40D early but the other boxes are calling my name. I hear them - OPEN ME! OPEN ME!
2 â 580EX II Speedlite
1 â ST-E2 Speedlite Transmitter
1 - TC-80N3 Timer Remote Controller
2 â Air cushioned Stands
2 â Speedlite mounts
2 â 32â Umbs
1 - New Camera bag for 2 camera bodies and up to 6 lens and accessories
1 - Remote lighting bad for stands, mounts, and umbs.
Five days is a long wait!
If I knew which box contains the 580's I could carefully open it. Then put it back before she gets home.

Should be easy enough, if everything is packed separately; that'd be the heaviest box.

Considering by the looks of it your very loving wife filled most if not all of your wish list I would not tempt fate and just leave the rest, go play with the 40D for the next couple days and you will be much happier for it ;)

I didn't open the boxes early. I did get to open them today but soon after we were off to see family. All day I wanted to get home and play with the lighting equipment but she kept me out all day.
Around 7pm I though I was going to finally get to play with them only to find out 10 or 15 minutes later she wanted to go to her mothers. So I didn't get home until around 11pm tonight. I guess I have to start tomorrow (26th)...

Maybe in retaliation, you should schedule her for a portrait session? ;-)

I did get to use one flash today with the 40D so it was not all bad.
This is the first shot (without reading the manual) with the 40D with the 580EX II flash. Give me your feedback. I know I have a lot to learn.
