I agree with everything you say. Was just trying to clarify the issues, which IMO had gotten muddied.

In most challenges, a person can choose to vote down if they feel it DNMC. But that is impossible with a self portrait challenge. The voters have no recourse when they feel they have been duped.
The only way to get around it for a SP challenge in the future would be to say it has to be an actual photograph of your physical self, then hope people will be honest.
