Now that the google analytics is around it's taking forever to load some long threads with lotsa images. What drives me nuts is the shifting because the thumbs do not have a size specified, so they start as little objects & increased in size causing this un-controlable scrolling in most browsers as they load. Since all the [thumb].. are all the same size, can we get the size attrib added to them so the browser renders at the right size and avoid the scrolling thing?

If I understand correctly, you're talking about the people's profile pics in the threads? This is my mod, then, rather than the website. I'm not sure it can be done so easily - they're either 80px or 120px, and some people don't have one (0px), so there'd still be some jumping around anyway.
They should start to cache up and load pretty fast, though. |
