Im looking into getting more memory cards, for when im traveling.. i dont want a big 4GB card because if i loose that then ive lost all the pictures so ide rather two 2gb ones.
looking on ebay theres alot of different types of even the same card? whats the differences?

these one seemed okay, so i was going to get two of them;

2GB / Ebay

I would stay away from EBay. Lot of fakes out there.

I use Transcend Cards and know that

Scalvert uses them as well. I am sure there are more people on here that use tem but I know of us two. I have never had any issues with mine and the price on these are awesome.

Plus that's a slow Sandisk even if it is genuine (one in the posted link).

Sandisk Extreme III cards are very cheap now.

A 2GB will be ~ $50 or maybe even less.

Amazon works similar to EBay. User selling stuff. I would steer clear just for this sake. Don't get me wrong Amazon is a great place to buy stuff. I would just not buy CF cards from there for fear of the fakes being there as well.

Go with Transcend and get it at NewEgg. I've had no problem and have bought maybe 5 2GB cards from them.

I use 7dayshop. 2GB Extreme III cards are Â£18 (plus delivery) and, they had the card in your link for a tenner.

I`m glad i read this thread :-(
Found out my 2gb sandisk ultra is a fake.
It came with my D200 which at least seems real :-)

It seems to work fine, but is slow downloading the photos onto my computer. I don`t want to touch the dirty thing now.

Will have to get some new cards in the new year.

jay, very cheap here.
Don`t know what they are like but only Â£6.77 for a 52x 2gig. And postage only Â£1.89 for 2 cards.
