My computer (Mac G5) doesn't read my camera. I formatted the card, took a few snaps and plugged in the usb and nothing...
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance. |

Silly question for a pro like yourself. But you did install the software that came with it so it would have the USB driver right?

I usually never do that. They tend to read whenever I plug in...
Giving it a look. TNX. |

I can read the camera through Lightroom and Nikon software but I want to read the camera as an external drive by itself.
Any camera I plug in generates a little HD icon where I drag the images wherever I want...with no additional software management involved.

If the camera's USB mode is set to mass storage the computer should read it like a flash disk. If it's set to PTP then you need to install the driver. |
