My favorite part. |
Though she'll give you the beer for free if you crack her up by chasing the runaway cart down the hill as it heads for the water hazard. |

Sadly, the roving beverage cart that stocks alcohol is becoming sn endangered species. Liability issues, don'tcha know? Plus slow-play issues. RIP...

Also, when you ask your friends to pose for a photo, this is generally the pose you get after too many visits by the beer-cart. I added the golf balls as a favour to the viewers of this photo.

Oh - you thought I meant my favorite part was the beer? No, no, no, its the girl. Her smile. The attire. My wishing I was younger. ;-)
She could be selling bottled water for all I care - yeah right.

Originally posted by Art Roflmao: Oddly, I was thinking the same thing about the spat of commercials I am seeing. Does marketing reflect life or does marketing create / influence our way of life? I think it's much like Hollywood - they create a reality that might reflect the one the creators live in, but has little to do with the general population and the way we live.

both! "the individual is constantly shaping and being shaped by society"... I think it's the same with commercials. but yes, probably geared more towards the "hollywood" lifestyle... I never even realized how much until I lived here. Then all these movies and shows I had seen years ago started making more sense... and even shows that don't directly say they are about Hollywood are... like Joan of Arcadia. (so I've never watched it, but Arcadia isn't far from here so I'm assuming...) songs too... so many are about california its almost ridiculous because musicians come out here to make it, and of course they are gunna write about it. |
