I've come across some books by Jim Zuckerman and wanted your opinions on him, and the following books:

1) Perfect Exposure (Jim Zuckerman's Secrets to Great Photographs)



2) Techniques of Natural Light Photography



3) Jim Zuckerman's Secrets of Color in Photography

He's published quite a few books over the years, so I'm surprised that no one here has read any of them. Anybody want to recommend one?

I have a B&N gift card that I need to use so I'm looking to buy a good photography book. Any recommendations, other than Zuckerman?

IMO, the best educational photo books are still Ansel Adam's three book series, The Camera, The Negative and The Print. Obviously not much on digital photography, but nails down the fundamentals.
