well i was on my way to work this morning .. and stopped at a stop sign... just as i started to take off .. i lifted my foot from the brake and started to release the clutch .. and i heard it ... "Meeeaaaak" ... wasn't sure what it was so i put on the flashers to check and see...
i walk around my car .. not seeing anything unusual... so i start to get back in the car... and then i hear it again "Meeeaaak"
i walk over to the pass side of my car and look under it ... just as i get back up i catch a glimpse of something inside my front wheel ...

WTF? i say to myself as i get closer...

a cat! .. a freakin cat climbed up into my wheel and was between the rim and the rotor ... great! .. heh now i am goin to be late to work for sure ... i get to the back of my car and get the jack out ... while dialing on my cell phone to wake my wife up and get her up there .. (only 3 blocks from my house) ...
while i am jacking up the car one of my friends (the city dog catcher) drive by and stops thinking i have a flat .. when he gets up there i start laughing ... he can't figure out why till i point at it ...
the cat was trying to swat at me through the openings in the rim ...
about that time my wife shows up and we have the car up off the ground enough that she reaches back in there and pulls him free...

this guy is maybe 4 to 5 weeks old at the most ... some idiot ditched it at the intersection i am guessing ... oh well ...
everyone meet "road kill" ... or Roady for short ...

Now that a great snapshot;) Good thing you noticed the sound.Otherwise. Let's not think about it. Bring on more of the kitty shots. Cool that you keep your camera with you.

| I love the second one with his little eyes peeking out, how adorable!! What a lucky little guy, see not all cat pics are so bad! :-P |

hehe yep going to keep em .. :) we (me and the wife) are taking pics of him throughout the day ... so will be putting up his own webpage soon ... lol ..
he was pretty shook up after being pulled from the wheel .. but calmed down once getting to the house with my wife (i still had to get to work) ... but he is settled in just fine ... just sleeping and meowing ... and biting everything in front of him ... still doesn't like loud noises tho ... but i guess that is with most kittens...
yeah i don't leave home without at least 2 cameras... never know what you might run into out there...
