I find the statement to be completely idiotic.

Sounds pretty clear cut to me. The author of the statement has observed the output of the D3 and it's clearly better than any other Nikon DSLR he's seen. And that guy has seen them all, and tested them all. At the time he wrote the statement, few had them in hand, and *NONE* were allowed to test dynamic range and other factors, and disclose such results to the public, due to non-disclosure agreements with Nikon. |
