Only started uploading this evening. Photosite.com is a new service provided by Homestead, who host my website. Its easy to use and offers loads of storage space. Worth checking out. I will be putting more photos up soon.

Oh dear, you're a Wolves fan? You have my sympathy! (But hey, at least you're in the premiership for a year).

The album software looks pretty cool. It loads fast enough. Is it easy to choose which shot you want to have in the middle on each page?

Some really good shots on there, I especially like this one : )

I went to register, and it says "we'll let you know when photosite becomes publically available" ??

Darnit, I thought you'd found some of those pure sugar chicks and bunnies that are only available at Easter. What is a peep?

I guess current Homstead users are being given a 'free trial'. I have until 15th December to decide if i want to keep the site or i can cancel. They were offering a special deal, instead of the normal 1000 pictures i got 2000 pictures for the price of 99 dollars a year. They also offer a smaller service which is normally 250 photos for 49 dollars, that was also on a special at 500 for 49 dollars. The software is downloaded from the Homstead site and its very, very easy to use. Once it is installed it asks you where your photos are stored and then scans that folder. I was a bit worried as mine is 5gb at the moment but it did not take too long. Once you open the programme it automatically scans the folder for new photos. Its just a case of drop and drag, you can also do some basic adjustments to the photos but only the ones you have put into your album, it will not let you edit orginals, which is good. There is various designs/fonts/colours etc you can have. Obviously the photos are compressed but i thought they did not look too bad. The hardest part is trying to pick which photos to put up! Its very quick and easy to use and i think i will be keeping the site. I used to spend ages uploading photos to my other website and was not particuarly pleased with the results.

I have given up with Photosite provided by Homestead. Software had too many bugs and their support is very poor. I am in the process of setting up a new site and will post when its up and running. Shame really as the software to put the photos up there was easy to use. Ah well, back to the drawing board
