These are some awesome shots, I wish I would have gone down this weekend. I guess I will have to wait until the next snow later this week.

Okay, I finally made it down to take some pictures. These are nowhere as good as what David has posted, but I thought I would be brave and share anyway. Such a fun place to take pictures.
Check out the shots here.

You're being too modest, these are GREAT! I love how you've framed each shot with the trees and Christmas lights, especially the 2nd and 3rd images.

Did you make it down there yesterday? The snow that fell yesterday was awesome ... made me wish I could have gone again (that's if I wasn't so sore from shoveling snow 3 times yesterday!).

My daughter and I are planning to join up with a group of photographers from Flickr that do what they call "Photo Walking". They pick a location each month and get together to photograph it from various perspectives and then compare notes. They are meeting at the red tree at Temple Square at 5:15 this Tuesday. Click here for more details.

Very nice.

BTW (and please excuse the dumb question), what do you use to put together the screen saver?

Very nice shots :) There's no christmas photographs around my area. I should probably go downtown and see.

Not dumb at all... I've played with a couple. I keep going back to ACDSee for creation of my screen savers. There are still some features that I wish it had, but from what I've tried, it has most of what I want.

We got enough snow yesterday that I'd be happy to share some of it. ;-)
