anyone have any thoughts on a shutter speed that will give me a nice-but-not-too-much-blur on a moving car using this camera and this lens?

| That would depend on how much light there is. Put the camera in shutter priority and try what you think then move up or down from there.... |

| It would also depend on the speed of the car... You have to experiment. Or do the math. ;) |

It really depends on the speed of the subject. In the above photo, the bike was going around a curve in the track at about 60mph. My shutter was 1/250th for that shot.
