Apologies if this has been suggested already but I'm new around these parts.

I'm sitting here editing a portrait photo for a friend and struggling - which brought about the idea. How about an Editing Challenge where either you (DPC) or us the members provide a photo (in RAW) to be edited, using either Basic or Advanced rules??

At first I thought it might be an idea to dedicate a forum section to it, a bit like an editing workshop/surgery, but then I figured that it might be a nice challenge variety in itself, seeing as post production is an important part of the whole digital photographic workflow. By removing the composition and creating of the photograph image it allows member creativity to stay focused on the image to hand (and therefore allow comparison by controlling for the image).

What do you seasoned DPC pros think?

Love the site btw...wish I'd found it years ago. I found myself out and about today with "Heaven", "Hell" and "Cars" firmly in mind!!!

Best,

N
