(or, to be PC, should I say, "Salesperson") ;-)

At any rate, the "Automobile Ad" challenge should be fun. There is no rule against a used (meaning old...very old...antique) automobile, is there?

Remember, we're selling cars...not auto parts! LOL!

Can we add text for this challenge? I didn't see anything mentioned in the challenge details

I think we will have lots of similar photos, changing only the model of the car on each one... And maybe a feel of them will be creative...

If there are no special rule sets stating text to be ok, I would not do it.

But, then again, you are competition, go for it.

I struggling to see how you can do a car ad with no text . . are we meant to go for a loooong title ?

Only 7 entries so far going into the 5th day of the challenge? I figured this would be a popular one. No text? I suppose you could either create the entire car ad pre-text and make the caption the text, take a picture of printed text around the car, or make it like a still out of a TV car ad.

Wanted: Sexy model with hot car for photo shoot and possibly more. Classic car is a plus. Tuners need not apply. :-)

Hmmm I think I've got a gooder for this one, although... I'll still place like 7million'th behind all the naked chix.

Ahhhh... a quandary! The title of the Challenge is "Auto AD" implying an ad like what you would find in a magazine or newspaper. The description makes it sounds like simply a picture is all allowed. In the description of Advanced Editing, it says you may NOT "add text to your entry or its border during editing. "

So... I guess that as boyd2000 said, have your text 'within' the photograph itself. Otherwise... a DQ will probably follow. Would be nice to see one of those little 'flags' next to the Challenge stating that added text is allowed, but since we only have a couple of days to go...I don't think that is gonna happen!

If anyone produces a decent image of a 67 Shelby Mustang GT 500 (Eleanor), they'll get a much higher score than the half-naked chick from me.

That car is pure sex in and of itself :-D

My prediction for the blue ribbon is a naked chick and a Hummer.

As much as I'm not interested in cars and photos of cars, there was an ad in the paper the other day for the new Mini Cooper. It featured one of the cars with a nicely clothed young woman standing a few metres away. Superimposed on this was a red line purporting to show where a typical viewer's eyes wondered while viewing the picture, with most of the red being on the car... ;-Þ

My daughter's name is Eleanor and it had nothing to do with that movie.

You want pure sensuality in sheet metal, '67 330GTS
