Yesterday, I was up first thing int he morning to get my gear together to go to take some band pictures in PA about an hour from my house, and then from there I was heading up to Doylestown PA (another hour from there) to do a live shoot of some bands playing.

So while sitting around the band's practice space, I notice that when I turn the swivel head on my sb600, the power cuts on and off sometimes, but would come back on and work. Then it just stops working completely.

So I steal one of the band members cars, drive 10 minutes to best buy, run in, drop $256(!!!!!!!) on a new one and run back.

I plan on returning the one I purchased, today (or returning the one that doesn't work in its place!!), because $256 is outrageous, but gotta do what I gotta do.

Endedu p taking 400 shots over the course of the day, and for the msot part, I think the the band is gonna be pretty stoked. Ill post them in the next couple of days.

I'd love to know if ajdelaware makes comments like that on purpose just to generate a response, or if he genuinely doesn't see a problem with that kind of statement.

Apparently the internet doesnt carry sarcasm well, even when you right "haha" after making a statement. But thanks for saddling up on the moral high horse, bunch of Fun Police.

(Whoops, nevermind, I didnt make it clear that I wasn't serious haha)

Haha, I agree. It really stinks...when it comes to this type of music, you can't really do "fun" stuff, because there is a certain image that needs to be conveyed in order to maintain credibility. I need to find some pop punk bands or something to work with, nobody takes them seriously haha.

What type of music do they play?
Reminds me of student standing around lockers in a school.
IF you have shadows, you can make them giant-sized.
Or add some colored lights to the background.

I have a bunch that I have to post still. Classic sitting on the couch ones.

I have to agree, these are not great band shots, aside from the lighting anyone could of taken them. The typical "everyone look at the camera with `attitude` except for the singer who should stare vacantly into the distance"... Incredibly cliched.

Although in that top picture the guy second right looks a bit like a young David Beckham.

You figured me out, these were actually taken 15 years ago, and that IS a young David Beckham. This is his old band "BEND IT"
