Nope, all three are the Virtual Photographer plugin for photoshop. The first is "Ambiance", the second and third had another run of Virtual Photographer over top of that one. Number 2 is the "Radiance" selection with a Neat Image run and number three is "Spooky"

you just download them online and then it usually tells you there how to do it. basically you take the file and put it in the plugins folder in photoshop and then you can get them in photoshop :) |

If I were going to use the second for anything, I would also use the healing brush on the lower line under the eye. (The processing kinda makes it stand out. :)

As for the plug-in, just go to optikverve labs for the plug-in. It's free, and directions are available on the site. Just remember that it has been "outlawed" for basic editing challenges. :) |

Looks great! I would actually have that one printed and mounted over my mantle if I were good enough to take a shot like that! I think that the focus on the eye is perfect, and the hat over the other one gives it a mystery that makes the overall image very appealing. (Can I borrow your roommate for a while to practice? :) |

And for something completely different:
(Give it a minute to load - it's 3.3MB)

Heres my 2c.
Edit: Heres what I did;
Obviously your eye is the focus point, so I drew attention to it by using selective curves layers to enchance the eye contrast. I also used a lense blur on your neck and scarf to draw the attention to your face. Red channel greyscale conversion and a gradient map to bring blues in the shadows and yellows in the highlights, and then a grungy overlay.
A great image to edit, just a shame that most of the detail is lost in the shadows on your hat.
Thanks,
Simon

That's cool. Now if you could just turn it into an animated gif like Brad and have the colors rotate it would be all ready for Christmas! |
