I've just got around to editing some photos from a trip earlier in the year and I'm kind of stuck on this one. I really like the photo but I can't find a crop I like. I'm not 100% sold on the B/W conversion either but it's the crop thats got me stuck.
It's a bit hard with a only a 800 pixel file so I put a bigger version on my website for you to play with

i think you're having trouble cropping it 'cause it doesn't really need it...

thanks for saying so - its just the bottom left hand side bugs me, but I guess after an hour of staring at the same photo you end up imagining faults that don't really exist.

I agree, no crop! I think the darkness at bottom left balances nicely against the brightness at top right. Has a good overall feel to me. |
