I wanted to buy some nice saltwater lures for christmas as a gift.I would like to get the absolute best for Northeas / cape cod style fishing. PLease help with suggestions.

I can only offer Off Shore Angler. Have always been impressed with Gamakatsu products...

I think the politically correct term is Fisher. No help with the lures though.

This is so wide open a sport even in fishing Cape Cod. OK lets start with what kind of fish they are going for, Blues (blue fish) Stripers (Striped Bass) Fluke, Flounder, Pogeys, Weakfish, Black bass, Channel cat.
I also need to help you a little info about the way they fish, Surf casting, Drifting (Big boat or small), Trolling ect.

Give me a little more information, and I will try to send you in the right direction..
