I picked up one of the Giottos blowers too. I used that before I started with the swabs at all. And of course that got rid of the speck of dust that started this whole thing on the first puff.
alanfreed, I was thinking that exactly. I think I'll try it here in a bit. I'll let you all know how it goes. |

You probably decided not to have it cleaned for you, since you have already been doing it yourself, but there is a place called Hunter or Forester, or something woodsy like that, that does repairs and such. I haven't used them personally but I have heard great things about them. I'm not even sure where they are, just in the valley somewhere.

So apparently the swabs can't get it off. I found the place you're talking about. Forster's. I'll give them a call and see what they can do about it. Thanks for the tip, they look like a good place. |

Forster's will do a good job, but don't hold your breath waiting for them to get it done. I had a lens there for over 3 week while they fiddled with it. It worked perfect when I got it back so I sold it to nald and then he broke it.
