It never fails, when I get back from a little trip, i see that there is a challenge that started AFTER i have taken shots that would fit the challenge VERY well.
I went to lake Tahoe over the weekend and took a glider ride up in Truckee (Soar Truckee), and went out over the lake.
I got lots of excelent photos of the tow plan landing and a few gliders in flight and other neat shots from the air and I cant use a single one for the flight challenge.
Oh well end of rant

I feel your pain.
Our annual air show just ended Sunday, would have been a great photo op for this challenge, especially with the Stealth Bomber as one of the main attractions. It's theme this year was Celebrating 100 Years of Flight.

The flight challenge was posted the same day that the local Aviation Festival ended here too, and I believe there were several balloon fests around the states also.
Of course it makes a change from searching all week for a subject, finding nothing, then for weeks afterwards uncovering lots and lots of said subject. Certainly happened to me after the bridges challenge. Then again, perhaps my eyes were more open to them after the challenge.

I got in late last night and have not had time to put a few up on the web.
I will get some of the shots up tonight and post....
