Was it any good? His movies usually don't translate well from his books.

My wife has read everyone of his books. She said it didn't follow the book precisely but the movie was very good. I usually don't like movies with creatures in them (to cheesy) but this movie took horror to a whole new level. The ending was one of the best I've seen since "Sixth Sense". JMO.

I'm in Kelli. Like you, If things stay the way they are, I might also make the top 100!

I had a couple of ideas for Drewmedia, but they involved a lot of setup, and I'm feeling lazy this week (could it be the over-eating?). I got a few shots for Alone and had a hard time choosing. I have entered one and expect somewhere in the mid-5 range. That's an easy prediction, because lately all my shots have been in that range, whether I like them or not.

Good morning from cloudy, cool Kuwait! Yes, it's winter here, apparently, with highs only into the 70s (68 right now) and a very lovely cool breeze. It's marvelous!!

Yesterday was box jackpot day - got boxes from mom and from my sister. Little stuff, but nifty stuff just the same. My sister sent me some friends to keep me company over the holidays. :-)

[thumb]616858[/thumb] [thumb]616859[/thumb]

Took these with the new toy. Haven't shot for any challenges at all lately. After Tuesday, I'll have a blank on the homepage. Bah!

Christmas cards - I did one that's 4x8 I really like, but getting it printed was a challenge. I had to print three of them on an 8x12, then very carefully cut them apart. So I made another version as a 4x6 which is a whole lot easier to get printed. If you'd like one, PM me your mailing address.

I'm in too - and I'll bet I can out-suck you !!

I've got 20 votes, and a score of a whopping 3.95.

Just the perfect follow up to my 4.07 in Stopped Motion.

Hmm......results from yesterday???

Just to be a further PITA....you have a shot from [user]michale_p[/user] in the Duotones results....is he a TSer???

I don't remember seeing him, not that I have a clue......8>)

It looks to me that Charlene, one of our newest members has the TS high score in Stopped Motion with this:

Woo hoo! Way to go, Charlene! A Top 5, too!

After being in the "hot" for so long, does it feel cooler than it is? Glad your enjoying the temps anyway and your new toy! I haven't received your PM with your address and choice of baked goods yet, lol! Speaking of, how does your mail find you? You're always moving around.

Since we are talking about Christmas, did you guys see this thread?

Christmas Card List

I'd love to be able to exchange some cards with TSers. I was keeping a list to email to everyone, so if you want, you can email me your address (plus your email addy so I can send the list!)

And Deb - would love to have your address too!

Actually I am very surprised to wake up to a 5.81! I think it will likely Jeb down to mid fives though. :)

I apologize for the delay in getting the entries up. If I could automate actually posting them I would. Congrats to cfarrell for the top score in Stopped Motion.

Deb has a military address. It's tied to her squadron? troop? whatever it's called, so it moves with her.

Nice and even, eh? I was disappointed at first but then I considered the sort of shot it was and realized it's only better with a low score. It gives it more street cred! :)

Just when you think it's not possible to Jeb anymore - my drewmedia score plummets down to 3.7
11/26/2007 11:47:07 AM · #1969
My Drew score has Jebbed down to 5.63 in the past couple hours...and is still dropping. By the scores of the other TS'rs I guess that is a good score, and it is about what I expected anyways.

On a happy note I have what I think should be a very good free study shot. (of course that is usually the kiss of death!)

I do have an address, and I'll give it to you guys if you promise to only send cards and not stuff. And no porn, either. :-)

The addy in Iraq (where I'm headed on Sunday) is available if you PM me.

I feel kinda bad that I don't have a Drew score to Jeb. The first shot in my Qatar story was going to be my Drew shot, but I thought better of it than to enter it in a challenge. Heh.

I am not sure if there are any James Patterson (mystery/suspense/thriller writer) fans out there. I am a huge fan of his. I just mention it because I have started one of his latest books called "You've Been Warned", and it is about a lady photographer. I am a few chapters in and it is great, but no mention of DPC or her scores Jebbing just yet, but it is still early.

This book might make a good Christmas present to those into photography and suspense novels. :)

Oh yeah......been an Alex Cross fan since the get-go.

Have you read any of his gut-wrenchers?

Like Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas?

I like The Women's Murder Club, too!

Interesting you should mention the Diary book. That is one of the only ones that I have not read. Is it good? What is the premise?

Yes, the woman's murder club is a serious almost as good as the Cross series. There is now Double Cross just out in hardcover about Kyle Craig escaping, as well as a new woman's murder club, I think the 6th in the series? I have not read either of those as I hate buying hardcovers. I made an exception for "You've Been Warned" because it was about photographer and because Zellers here now sells books at the US $ price. (I refuse to get ripped off paying way more even though our $ is worth more than the American $ right now!)
