Yeah, I think a new thread is in order to promote it.
Guys, don't forget all your other sites, if you use them, Myspace,flickr.. anything else.
If anyone can figure out how to rip that video off the blog to get onto youtube...I'd be happy.

Hey If anyone has any questions I will be around for a while. JoJo sent me the files, I am getting them ready to send to the publisher. She had to go get ready for work.

No luck in getting some ad space on dpc? I don't see it in community projects. |

Kirbic responded to my ticket, asking some questions. SC is looking at it.

also, langdon is the only one that can code it to 'add' it. it may take more than a few hours, if it is approved. |

I have the releases signed for my models and I was wondering where to send them? Could any one help with this? |

i've sent press releases to the local paper (notorious for not printing ANYTHING that wasn't their original idea) and a more regional paper (who seems to print ANYTHING that comes their way -- haha).
We'll see.
If I get some orders if they run, when will the second printing be, or do i just need to order them from you, Ericka? |

I'm working on a press release as well and I think they will print it as Sharon's husband Jim writs a coloum for them and a few others in their network.
Hope to generate some orders with that and I'm pretty well knowen around here myself for things other than photography and I'll start making the calls.
Do you think there will be a second printing??

I think I might have misunderstood the ordering thing. Are we (the people who contributed the photos) responsible for ordering the first batch of 500? I guess I thought I would order a few and distribute them around to interested parties so they could then drum up interest for the second/third print runs. Basically, have something to show people so they could see what they are ordering.
Or is it you need 500 orders right now before you can even get it printed? |

we can do less than 500.
The price per calendar goes up (I will have to get a new quote) but its not by too much.
If we wait another week, we will miss Christmas. Its gonna take up to 3 weeks to get them printed, this time of year they are back logged with orders.
We can do a smaller order (say 200) and then in a week submit another one if we need to.
I am tallying all the orders tonight, so I will get a total in the morning. |

oh, we are at about 70 calendars right now, I havent decided how many to order yet either. So the 200 should be an easier target. WDYT? |

I think going for the small order is probably best right now. I personally can't afford a large number of them, especially around Christmas.
How are web orders doing from the blog? Picking up? Nil?
