The kids are going to make the yearly gingerbread house in a little while, and I want to do a time-lapse animation of the event.
I'd like to set up a camera (could be my A95, Rebel XT, or 40D, I don't care as I'll be shooting small files) on a tripod and just leave it going for the 20 to 30 minutes they'll be decorating it at the table.
!!!!
Edit,,,, dang, there should be a question mark at the end of the thread title, oops.

I think you'll have to tether it to a computer and use the EOS utility. So, if ya got a notebook, load her up and get to shooting.

You got a remote? Just hit it every once in a while.

yep, the canon software will do it (EOS capture I think). I did a time lapse with the 350D of a ice cube melting - it was so boring I think it actually killed some brain cells... |

if you have a mac laptop, but do not have canon utlities.
They have a built in time lapse photography option in imovie. It works really well. |

the more advanced remote-controllers can also hit it in the time you want it (every 10 seconds for example)
