I'm looking to buy an Auto GPS for $350 or less.

Needs:

Voice turn-by-turn commands
3.5 or larger screen
Good battery life (hopefully 7-8 hours or more)
Easy to Use
Finds addresses easily (I've read some need exact spellings or it won't find it)
Good selection of POI's

Not Needed:

Blue Tooth
MP3
Audio Book

Traffic and Weather info would be great but not essential.

I've been looking at Garmin's c580 and the 650...but then AAA has a Magellan 3210 that includes AAA POI's.

Any suggestions? Thanks.

I have a TomTom. It is $199 at Best Buy right now (in Canada) and it ROCKS! Sooooo easy to use.

I have a Mio Digwalker 350X that I like. It meets all your requirements, although you do have to have spellings fairly close to the correct way for it to work. My only complaint is that the maps are old, and the promised Spring-07 update never came out. Their newer units might be more current, however. And I think I only paid about $230 for it.

Thanks, I'll have a look at those.

Anyone else?

I have the Mio Digiwalker 310X and picked up the updated map at my local Circuit City. If you have the same one then you can pick it up there.

I got a Navigon 2100T this morning at Staples for $99. Regularly $300 - they had lots on sale, as do just about eveyrone else today.

For as cheap as it is - color (3.5"...) 2D and 3D, speach directions (turn by turn), lots of POIs (no clue how/where they come from). No idea on battery life at this point - it came with built in Lion and the car charger. Inclueds free 'traffic' for life and can do multiple destination routing.

So far it found my home. I have a church to go to later...and it won't take the address...409 11th street. It says no 409 exists... i can force it to 1100 4th ave - essentially the same place, but I needed mapquest to know that..kind of a PITA.

I have lots to learn to use it well, but for the price I'm stoked!

Update: Works very well, reading the (online) manual has helped - I think the address issue was me and not knowing how to work it. Battery life is a rather weak 3 1/2 hours, but IMO it's not much of an issue since i'm in the car and can plug it in anytime.
