Good Luck. It's a great accomplishment just to get all the training in, let alone running the actual event. You will do great and will have such an awesome feeling of triumph when you finish.

Oh, and remember....Pace yourself. It is better to pace people later than to get passed. Remember...Negative splits!

Good luck, Kevin! I'm a very enthusiastic long distance runner too, so I know the excitement and nervousness you're going through ;-)
Keeping my fingers crossed for you - let us know how you get on.

Good luck. I'd be willing to run the 1/422 Marathon, but I might have a hard time pacing myself.... ;-Þ

Good luck Kevin. Pace yourself, and stop if you have to. No need to harm yourself.

I ran a full marathon 28 years ago, when I was 15. I've set a target date to do it again in fall 2009, sort of a 30 year anniversary thing. Targeting a half marathon next fall.

Thanks guys and girls for the support unofficial time 2:14:02. Not my intended time but I'll take it.

Thanks again

cool, congrats! my father was/still is a triathlete and long distance runner, too, he ran the full marathon in 2:32:34! hard to beat that time i guess but i'll try to do it maybe in 2 or 3 years. it's a challenge and a good way to get to learn your body better imo...
