Me too! Wish it had been a RAW file though. ;-) I'm surprised more people don't wander over to play.

thanks for choosing one of mine, i mistakenly clicked on the wrong
thing and it looks like i'm entering, but i'm NOT.
how silly would that be.
(ahh found the unregister button, right before my eyes........)

anyway give it a go peoples, its hard, her blouse was white, almost
silver and i did not want to use the fill in flash on her face.
her name is virginia and she is looked after by the st johns, apostolic
church, she has no family, looking for work, anyone got a job for
her?

Is there any rules for what you can and can't do in editing this image?

I believe it falls under DPC advanced editing rules. It should say on the "compete" page where you uploaded the original.

Being a site for DPC members, we run most of the challenges under DPC's Advanced Editing ruleset. The ruleset is listed on the compete page. =)

Yeah, I think we've had one DQ. Since there's no SC, there's no validation, so it generally requires somebody to say "hey, I don't think that's legal", and I check it out and use my own judgment. But it requires me to rerun the scores script, and I don't like to. So play nice! =)

You should have made overlays/textures legal for the goodman photo. :) I'll find a Bali photo and then let people use textures, if you want to try it out.

i can always upload the raw file, wasnt sure how big it could be,
see i dont take time to read the rules..

I've had trouble with people uploading RAW files. I wonder if my host imposes a filesize limit. 3-5MB files seem to work ok, though.

We figure that out at some point.
