Under the "Learn" menu have "Definitions"

Click and you are lead to a wonderful world of information concerning all aspects of photography.

Then, in technical challenges like "Bokeh", a link can be added in the challenge description to said term on this page. Everyone, photographers and voters alike, will have a base level of understanding of what is being asked of them.

Also, having a Terms and Definitions of Photography section will add to the 'DPC is here for learning' level.

Point of View
Bokeh
Single Light Source
Group Portrait
Macro
Soft Focus
Impressionism

are but a few of the recent Challenges that could link to said Definitions page.

Does this resource exist elsewhere? Yes. But so do challenges, forums, camera listings, photo sharing, etc etc etc.

Why not have this information available here?

Might be nice, but since no one can agree on some of those as it is it might be hard to come up with definitions.

I think this is an excellent idea, as I sometimes have problems distinguishing between what certain challenge criteria means. I hope that this idea is liked by others, as this will help a lot of people, and it will help when voting and submitting in challenges.
