Been playing around with photo editing a bit to try and learn. Was trying to capture the era with the editing to go with the theme of classic wooden boats. These pics were taking during a classic wooden boat festival that comes to town every summer. Would love to have some feedback good or bad...

PS all editing was done with Adobe Lightroom

I like the semi-HDR/tonemapped look about them. Only problem is that the sharp busy background detracts from the subject. Were these taken with your P&S? Maybe blurring the background a little might help, or darkening the edges. I'm not sure what sort of filters you could use in lightroom, or whether you have to go to Photoshop for that.

Looks like a great show. I'd have loved to see some of these beautiful boats. Thanks for sharing.
