The was shot by the pro we hired to do my daughter's wedding back in August. I've been working on editing a lot of the shots. This one, of my lovely girls, is definitely my favorite so far! I know...no groom - but from a mom's perspective I just love this shot.

Playing around with the border...not sure I like it. I think it might be too dark and distracting along the bride's arm and dress.

Also...I don't get them printed with borders usually, unless it's in a collage. The border is just for web.

Did you get the digital files or are you working with HiRes scans?

BTW - I like the end result here personally. :-)

We got to choose 200 of the digital files to have on dvd. This one I did very limited editing to. It was good from the start. I just tweaked the skin tones a bit, cleaned up the complexion a bit and cropped just a little.

Edited to add: We have the rights to do whatever we want with those 200 files.

Another new fav as I'm working through them.

EDIT: Sorry didn't realize it was the large version. I don't have it in my portfolio here.

It is a great shot of your daughters, and all in all,I think it is fine the way it is.

Only suggestion I would give is maybe getting rid of the "beveled" effect as well as the white border around the shot...and then increasing the shadow on the left side and bottom left side. On a white/light background might make the picture appear to be hovering in the air. Just an idea cause, like I said...the way it is now is cool too.

Thanks for your comments. I only put the border on for the web. On this last one, there is no bevel, just a small pinkish border and a larger white one. There is some fading on the photo before the border was added.
