Hi everyone. I wanted to do this post since there is no where for me to put a description of a subportfolio in detail. (that I know of anyway). I just got back from my honeymoon on O'ahu. I loved it. Other than the first few days of rain anyway. I am getting pictures up.. slowly but they are going to be there to share with my family and friends. We got in on Friday and were not actually able to do anything until Monday. Monday we went to a luau which was ok, but it was rushed because we arrived after dark due to traffic. Tuesday we went to Pearl Harbor. We were really suprised that the city streached so far up into the mountains. When we got to the harbor I was not only saddened by the events that took place there, but I kept thinking about how we have ruined something so beautiful. There is oil that is still seeping from the battleship Arizona. The smell is aweful. It is a very sad place to go. On Wed we did two hikes, one was in the mountains and the other was at Lyon arboretum. Thursday we did a hike to Manoa Falls in the morning and a sunset dinner cruise at night. We finished up friday with a Hummer Tour around the island, and some off road touring that took us to some tv show and movie film sites. I had a blast. Hope you all enjoy.

Congratulations on both the Wedding and the gorgeous location for a honeymoon.

About 8 years ago, I took my wife to Hawaii to celebrate our 15th year anniversary. And I gotta say this one thing: Have you ever been on a vacation where, at the end of the vacation, you just can't wait to get home? Well... we spent 11 days in Hawaii, and at the end of the vacation, I seriously did NOT want to go home. It was like living in paradise. Such a beautiful place. We went scuba diving many times, we went snorkling, we visited all the tourist attractions. Next time out, we plan to hit one of the less traffic'd islands, but for our first visit, we thought we'd simply do everything that any good tourist would do. :-)

Oh ... and even though this was 8 years ago (which pre-dates my entrance into the Digital world), I still managed to bring back something like 450 photos (a good number of those were taken under water using a Nikonos camera).

I wanna go back!!!

Congrats again! :-)

Yeah, I've been to Hawaii twice. Honolulu, really. Okay, specifically Honolulu Airport. Both times 2a.m. Not much to see at that time of morning ;-( Maybe next time I'll go out the airport doors.... {°¤°}
