So I just got my XTI a few weeks back and I'm itching to get out every weekend to take some shots before the snow hits. (And I need lots and lots of practice)

Last weekend we hit up the ruins at Meech Lake //www.edgedesign.ca/Photos/meech/

Two weeks before that it was Newfoundout and Esmonde (two ghost towns on the Opeongo Road, out by Renfrew) //www.edgedesign.ca/Photos/ghosttown/

Any suggestions where we can go to grab some pictures? I like old, ruined buildings for some reason - but anything interesting is good for me =)

Oh and i'd prefer something outside the city =)

Thanks!

Hmm I was thinking Petrie Island. Maybe I will check it out this weekend then.

Been to Mackenzie King Estate more times than I can count (live about 3 minutes away - on the Ottawa side)

Thanks cpanaioti!
