NASA has posted the space shuttles path and millions of people in the US will be able to see and hear it as it returns to earth. The flight path has it coming over the city I live in (Columbus, GA). De-orbit burn around 12pm ET and landing at 1:02pm. Look for Orange streak with a white tail, be patient and you will hear a double sonic boom about two-minutes later.
Hope to get a shot of the shuttles entry.
