o ghetto lighting as i like to call it... i took a spot light laying aroung taped wax paper over it shiny side out with some tin foil to maximize the light and an extension i set in there of foil to bounce it behind the scare crow, and a desk light, same deal w/ out wax paper, the bulb itself is soft so no wax paper is needed.... i did a test setup using those 2 lights ISO 100 and built n flash at 1/80 i think or 1/60 at f/5.6

swanky.
use a tripod and set some longer exposures so the background isn't so dark.
and invest in a second light to aim straight at the background. :) |

Hey Robert, looks great mate!
You might be suprised how many of us are using similar setups.
Lucky for me I have a large shed now and I can leave mine setup, I use various lights depending on the brightness I want. Desk lamps, microscope lamps, work lamps and torches all work in different ways.
