Well, the contrarian tone of the post suggests less than a reasonable stance, and if you took the picture for that purpose, Hell yes!

I was not suggesting for that purpose but for a candid portrait.

Hell if anyone wants a shot of my crotch just let me know. I am proud of my package.

Look on tv, if this is not ok then why is it alright to have half naked women on tv speaking out to our community? dont watch videos if you didnt like what i wrote, becuase it will get you more mad.How FOX News gets viewers
shes showing more than i want to see
Lets put her in the middle rather on the side, more viewers will watch then
This one is ok for our childern to watch(not really)
I hope my daughter makes the squad this year! (cheerleader)
and all i typed in was highschool cheerleader. News reporter.... Fox... this is what the world has turned into, sex sells...
but this is all ok. becuase, well i dont know why it is, but they allow it on public tv. IN LOCAL SCHOOLS.... and why is teen pregnancy so high? oh yea Im so proud of my daughter, the cheerleader, did i menton these girls are in HIGH SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i cant see how the world would allow something like this to happen for so long... and yet, everyone is ok with it

Jimbo, I'm not ok with it. And I hope that feminism (which is really just humanism, but with the acknowledgement that women are treated less respectfully than men) can make a comback from the setbacks that have occurred via the media and pop culture for the last 20 years. That's why i speak out,and hope to change the way people think.

i could not agree more. The media, which was once used as a tool for change, has turned on us and is the instrument of our destruction.

Those that watch it support it... even if they watch in disgust. Advertisers pay for views. Without viewers, the media would be forced to change, so careful with passing the buck to the media.

You're right, Leroy. I don't blame the media for the message, I blame those who USE the media with this message. Sadly, sex does sell, not feminism, or respect. If it did, we might be able to more effectively use popular culture to our advantage, but the trend in society, by some design, is toward the skanky and frivolous, and that's what is picked up on by the media because that's what sells. I don't know how to sell respect, except by example and word of mouth.

We assume this guy took the crotch shots because he is a perv... why isn't the monetary issue being addressed? While we are talking about media... what does a good celeb crotch shot sell for?

Edit: my typing sucketh.

Any medium that exchanges information is ripe for spreading bad behavior/morals. I wouldn't pin this problem on pop culture or the media especially when women are treated far better now then 20, 50 years ago. If there is a problem it's because of a lack of strong women leaders. Maria Sharapova, Anna kournikova are in positions to make change but they just seem interested in profiting from the status quo. Not to say male athletes don't do the same thing but then again they dont' have to wear mini dresses just to play tennis.

Not a big tennis fan. So they can choose to wear shorts if they want even at Wimbledon?

Well... let's go about it this way...

If you (generic you, not you you) went out to the beach in a g-string, would you be surprised if your a$$ ended up on YouTube or Flickr?

Some of those search results show she's prone to going out in skirts in short skirts and no panties.

Now, it seems to me that a lot of people give Britney Spears a lot of grief about her limo cooch slip, but don't say a word about the paparazzi that shot it. Now, an article pops up that DURING a shoot, someone else pops off a crotch shot and everyone jumps the gun, calling him a perv. What's the difference?

One's looking for publicity and the other was working? That's just my guess. One career track to being a celebrity is to get controversal photos and videos out there. Don't you think Britney "work" the paparazzi some?

I don't think for one second that Maria Sharapova doesn't work the media just as much as Britney. No celeb goes out in public w/o proper nip or crotch coverage thinking their junk will remain unseen.

God in schools could have stopped the shootings, but he was occupied stopping the priest from molesting children in church...

so, you're saying that if i don't want to run the risk of a man not being able to control himself from sticking his camera in my crotch (so to speak), i should not show any skin at all in public.

True but wasn't Maria at a photo shoot (i.e. her wardrobe was selected for her) vs Britney who was out to party and be seen.
