Asylums in NJ, NY, or PA needed Help

Hi All,
I have a real oppertunity to kick my career in photography to a whole nother level. I really need some help from you guys.

What I need is an abandoned asylum or hospital in the New York, Pennsylvinia, New Jersey, or Maryland Area. The place must be somewhat safe, and I would need to be able to legally shoot there. So I may need some contact info for the state or who ever owns it.

If there is somebody who could get me to one of these I would more than happily allow them to come along on the shoot and meet some really cool people. i am also sure I would be able to compisate them if the location is right. The better the location, the less hastle the better the compinsation.

I'm not really looking for links to things that may help, I have found most of them. I need serious resources.

Glenn Dale Hospital in Maryland (real close to DC) is one, however I'm sorry to say I don't have any contacts there and it's definitely posted with a security guard.

Wish I did have some contacts. Heck! if you find any, would you mind sharing them with me? ;-)

Yeah, i found that one. it dosent really have the look I am going for. I need some sort of gothic apearance.

Not an asylum, but will the Eastern State Penitentiary and Prison help you?

have you shot here before. if I could shoot there legally that would be a great spot. Looks like it is on Long Island. That would be perfect. Do you want to help out with the project?

Can't help you with a location but thought you might find some inspiration from this blog. He's got some really creepy photos from the "Linda Vista Hospital". There's also a link ther to "Lost America" which I think is worth a peek.

I'm sure my dreams will be a bit worse for this tonight. =O
