I'm sure everyone remembers this photo:

Did one of Jeff's outtakes make it onto www.icanhascheezburger.com or was someone else inspired by his work?

It's possible but there are tons of photos on the internet of that big cat in the water chasing food

Yeah, I think it's a different image. There was a similar shot in Sports Illustrated a few months ago too. That's one famous cat.

It's a famous feline... Somebody shot this cat for the Deja Vu challenge.

I ran across that same photo and wondered the same thing. Not sure how common it is for Tigers to go swimming, but I also believe there may be more than one....if not, its a popular Kitty!

Actually it's very common for them to go swimming. Where this was taken they also have the glass, but it's very hard without a dslr to get a decent shot through the glass (and I don't have a dslr, lol).

I remember seeing someone else's underwater tiger shot in an MSNBC slide show about a week before that challenge. When it popped up in the challenge, I compared the two side by side, different photos. And after, different people attributed to the pics.

Most cats don't like water, tigers do. There's also a cat in South America that will go in water to catch fish. I can't recall what it is at the moment, though {°¤°}
