Well only a day remains. I have been debating on renewing my membership for 20 days now. I don't know if it's me or if it's the community but things seem so slow in the forums for the last few months. I love photography but I also like the community and miss the communication that, IMO, once made this site stand out above others.
I guess I need to make a decision soon. :)
Please do not take this as a thread asking for a membership. I'm not asking for a membership, if I decided to renew I will pay for my own. |

If the "good guys" all fail to renew, the "bad guys" win. Apathy reigns when those of conscience opt out of the system. Renew!

I can't imagine not getting at least $2 a month of knowlege, entertainment, and enjoyment from being a member of the DPC "family". If you were to leave, you would be missed. And, you have not ribboned yet, so that should be another good reason to stay in for another year. You have some excellent shots in your portfolio.

This is still a pretty busy place. I am trying to learn more about lighting so I am stilll here. Maybe you need a GA GTG?

You maybe correct on the GA GTG. I have renewed my membership (good now till Nov 2, 2008). Roberts post made sense and I think it's more an issue with me than the site or members. I think I'm in a lull. It seems I can't make a decision easily of late. I have a
Canon 40D
Canon 100mm f/2.8 USM macro
580 Speed flash
and a
Canon 10-22 wide angle
in my B&H shopping cart. It's been there for a couple of weeks but each time I go to checkout I freeze. Then when I decide "OK, I'll do it!" the 40D is sold out.

Glad you are in for another year. DPC membership is one of the best investments in my photography expenditures, ever.
If you get that cartload of gear, who knows, you may be getting that elusive ribbon soon.

That lens has been in my shopping cart for more than 2 months now. I need it but just wanna wait a little longer. So don't feel bad.
