"Flash" is a street name obtained from a local motorcycle group that I shoot pics for. My passion for photography began as a yearbook fotog, in B&W, doing our own developing, printing and drying, many years ago in HS. For several years, I have primarily used a Nikon 6006 w/ Nikor lenses w/ various point and shoots as backups. From dog sledding in Alaska to horseback riding the Sangre de Christo Mountains-NM, from Ireland to Cozemel, Memphis, Dallas, Sedona, and DC after 911 for the Rolling Thunder motorcycle run, my Nikon has been with me. Thousands of pictures later, I have just bought my first digital-a Nikon 4300. Thought I would try this first, before dropping the dollars for a digital SLR. This forum was recommended to me by a forum member in the Buick-Reatta forum. So far I have been amazed. My experience in digital is zilch, with my computer skills with adobe or PSP the same. This forum should greatly help my learning curve. The tutorials have already been helpful. Thank you in advance for all your suggestions/comments/critiques'. I look forward to the upcoming exchanges.
