Newcastle is celebrating "Music Week" - a festival they hold every year. It attracts quite a number of name people (generally Australian) from various areas of music. It also attracts a number of "rock photographers" who give workshops. One such person who was going to give a workshop on Thursday was Tony Mott - a fellow who has made quite a name for himself (the Stones, Madonna, Paul McCartney etc).
I was really looking forward to it - not that this is my main interest of photography - but still extremely interested in what he had to say.
I had a phone call today to say that he won't be able to make it (called away to Adelaide - to photography somebody ?). At this stage they haven't got a replacement - but I hope its someone interesting.
Disappointed !!

that dude's had great seats for a LOT of amazing concerts.
