At the risk of being buried in someone elses topic, I'm starting a new one...

I'm trying to find a reverse mounting ring (for macros) for 52-58 sizes. I've only found one store (Go Shot Camera) but would like to know if anyone has any other sources on our great continent. I've searched through most of the large retailers and come up empty.

So, if you know where I can get a 52-58mm reverse mounting ring, do let me know please.

And please don't suggest ebay!

It much better when you WIN it!!!!

I see these are step down or step up rings. So one side is male thread while the other side is female./ You need male to male.

So buy one of these then just turn around and buy a 52mm - 52mm reverse ring or a 58mm - 58mm one.

thanks for the b&h link. good solution for the price, not so much for the 23 bucks shipping...

Until you buy a real one, cut the bottom off a neoprene bottle cooler.

I found that the resulting tube fit my 50mm lenses perfectly, and is strong, yet flexible, enough to hold the two lenses together quite well.

Wow! Now that's a knacky little trick Karin!

ETA: Bought mine from B & H also. You should do like I did and buy a couple lenses at the same time... then you don't mind the shipping charge.
;o)
