Yo Gang anyone looking for a decent Three MP cam that can interpolate to 6mp with a 10x optical zoom, //www.buydig.com has the Fuji S5000 for 398 bucks. That is 110 bucks below retail and the freakin Cam Came out this month.

That's a great deal for that camera for people that don't want to spend too much. You don't even need a "tube" for the lens, just a filter(s). Plus the 10x zooms is kick butt.
Is this the camera you helped that other person here purchase?

I read about S5000 and was excited until I thought about how 10x would be limited by the lack of image stabilization. Would love to hear the comments of someone who has used one. How fast a shutter speed is necessary to avoid blur from camera shake at full zoom? |

There are some Fuji 5000 owners posting pics and discussing the camera's abilities on the Fuji Forum at DPReviewIf your questions aren't answered there, you can always ask. I've found the participants pretty responsive. |
