Well, tomorrow, 10.18.07, the Writers Guild of America (WGA) is going to vote on weather to strike or not.
If there is a strike, then Oct 31 is strike eve. Nov. 1 being strike day one.
I won't be working in a normal capacity, or not making the money that I am used too, so here I am with head in hand, eye on camera, waiting for the bills to collect.
What should I do for fun?
Where should I start looking for temporary work?

That's what bugs me about strikes; the strikers at least get some pay while they're out of work, trying for more, but all those they take down with them are screwed and don't even end up with any benefit at the end of it all. |

If we're voting on weather, I personally vote against rain. I hate it.

I could do with some snow, if that's an option on your ballot. |

vodka rain would give you more options but watch out you don't get a worm in your eye trying to catch the rain drops lol.
Very sorry to hear about your situation Thomas, I'm sure it will all work out in the end...keep your boom held high. ;) |

I think you're on the west coast somewhere. If you want to start a photography business let me know.
Don't get mad, just shoot someone. Have camera will shoot.
Just aim for some cash when shooting, that's always more fun. |

So, I guess the vote was ratified at the WGA.
Negotiations are in the works until Oct. 31 when the current WGA contract is up.
I heard that Nov. 10 is when the strike would officially begin.
I also heard that the Teamsters will not honor the strike, which is a big deal. The reason being is that the writers did not honor the Teamsters last strike and crossed picket lines.
Kind of interesting development.
Keeping my options open.
I'll probly be working at Home Depot for a while.
Unless..............
