I'm not seeing much of a difference however I notice that there is flare on his forehead.

I like the second version much better. no more lines cutting right through heads. I also noticed you eliminated the little tree on the left. Good work.

Terrific job removing a major flaw (the horizontal headzap shape). You did lose the backlight delineation on the chin, but it's a fair tradeoff.

I took out the flare on his forhead, I forgot about that one.
