Does anyone know a good guide to pose couples? More specifically I'm looking for a before wedding photos.

I'm going to be taking this couple on trip around town to take photos in famous places. Posing has been my weakest link and I know I'll run out of poses quickly and will have to do same stuff in all the places.

So.. what I want to do is put together a cheat sheet, possible with photos, on how to pose people.

Thanks

Nick

Hey Nicolai, I bought a couple of books on the subject that I found at a local camera store and at Barnes and Noble. I haven't learned it by heart and would be unable to concisely state how to do it in this thread. Actually, I think that it would not be possible to convey that much information easily for anybody since there are so many possibilities and pictures and diagrams say at lot. I suggest that you check out the library, Barnes and Noble, or Ritz (Wolf) Camera and see what books they have.

I don't know where in NYC you live Nick, but my co-op basement recycling area is stuffed full of all sorts of wedding magazines all of which are big and glossy with loads of photos of every aspect of weddings including couples.... that might be a start if you have such a resource.

You are kinda far a way so I don't think I'll be able to get them for this wedding. However, I will take you up on the offer.

Let me know a weekday when I can stop by. Preferably 5:30-6:30PM.

Thanks

Nick
