I was just sitting here wondering wtf I could do with this double transgenic mouse embryo other than feed it to the neighbor's dog.

Yeah, and I've been keeping heaps of coiled radula of Patella vulgaris just waiting for the next macro challenge, only to drop the test tube onto the floor ruining the whole blooming lot. Months of work, shards of glass and an obnoxious pong... :-( |

My current setup maxes out at 8.75x - and it's really hard to position and focus at that magnification... And to find a 4mm subject who's willing to smile.
Oh, and the focal plane is probably measured best in micrometers. =) So it's best if their smiling with a flat face, perfectly parallel to the camera.
