Not sure about this, but I believe "Teacup" is a term for Poodles.

You might also consider rescuing a pug by going here: //www.michiganpugrescue.com/

The puggle is a recognized breed by akc, half pug half beagle, but from what im reading teacup puggles arent recognized - these are smaller versions that arent breed correctly or something--

Im looking for someone else btw, I got my hands full with my own dumb dog :)

Edit-- I guess the puggle cannot be registered by the AKC, but is recognized by the ckc..

The puggle is an attempt to reduce the breathing problems of the flat faced (brachiocephalic)pugs. You have to recognize though that you will also not have the same disposition or behaviors of either breed, but a blend of the two. It is another "mutt" or mixed breed more or less.
I have had limited experience with them, but the one I did have around once was hyper and a chewer in comparison to the calm nature of a pug.
Also, keep in mind that when people decide to make these designer dogs, they also create new health issues with them - especially when they try breeding them into tiny toys.

As for rescuing one from michigan pug rescue - I would recommend you consider one of the other 2 rescues in MI first. I know the practices of them all and for reasons I can discuss with you privately, if you wish to contact me, I would not recommend Michigan Pug Rescue. The two I would recommend are For the Love of Pugs Rescue , and Pug Rescue Network
