To be honest, if the school is gonna cut me a check for the amount, then I can spend it however I want. What are they gonna do, investigate it to see where my $850 went?! If they do, its in my bank account. I spent my "own" $850 on equipment. The $850 you loaned me in the bank. WAKKA WAKKA.
I dont know when Ill be getting this check, but im about to just dump it all on my credit card and then pay it off whne it comes. |

They could, but given the number of student loans out there, the authorities are only really going to be concerned if you mismanage your money so badly that you can't pay for the stuff you need for school and start having problems paying for stuff like food or your books. |
