Or if it makes it more palatable, call it Radiohead III right out of the gate.

Anyone else listening to the new album?

Downloaded it this morning. Gave it a listen through once - probably have it back on again in the morning.

I heard about this. You can pay as much or as little for the album as you wish. I heard that the artists don't actually make much money from album sales anyway, but those rock-star dollars have to come from somewhere. The question I have is; where?

I haven't downloaded it yet, but I probably will soon. I haven't decided how much I'm willing to pay.

Typically they make a lot of their $ from touring and merchandise.

Pay 2 bucks for it they probably make twice as much as they would have were they still distributing through a record company.

Great album, as you would expect.

Let's do a challenge with song titles for motivation. Or not.

Yes to the challenge idea. Love Radiohead!

I must download it! I love the their idea with this album. And from what I understand 2 bucks is almost exactly what they would make per copy sold from a label (Heard it on NPR) so yeah 2 bucks is good! :-)

Sheesh! And photographers camplain about MICROSTOCK prices. The band spends 6 months making an album and you want to give them 40-cents a piece for it.

:P

I have 3 electrics and a bass but you're in Vermont. Gonna be hard to get our band started long distance...

Yes, a few days ago pre-order. Got email this morning, downloaded it in less than a minute. I read their site is mobbed at this point. Actually downloading the album remains speedy.

Could always snag a copy off the torrents and then buy it once things chill out.
