I know one thing you can find at Disney... toilets that flush via motion sensor. This caused us some significant backpedaling in the world of potty training several years ago.
We had JUST gotten our daughter potty trained, and went to Disney World in 2002. And one of those damn toilets scared the crap out of her, so to speak, by randomly flushing while she was using it. For the rest of the trip, she wouldn't go on a public toilet.
We were at Disney with friends, one of whom told our daughter in the way of an explanation, "Oh! Mickey Mouse is in there, and he flushes toilets for people!"
So for many months, not only was my daughter scared to death of toilets, she was also scared of Mickey Mouse.
Ah, the memories. |

LOL Alan, that's hillarious! I assume she eventually got passed the fear of Mickey & public potties? :)

Yes, thank the good Lord, she's long been over that!
On that same first trip, we went to Universal Studios for a day, and she freaked out on the E.T. ride (which was more intense than I had remembered from my last visit there). So she freaked out from that point on during any ride that was either dark, or loud.
At EPCOT, we went on The Land (a very easy-going boat ride that teaches you about agriculture, of all things), and she freaked out, screaming, "I JUST WANT TO GO HOME!" the whole way through it. Oh, how the people in front of us just loved us on that ride! At the end of the ride, the older guy in front of us turned around and said, "I think she just wants to go home!"
We went back to Disney last summer, and things went a whole lot more smoothly.

I just got back from Disney World! I went to the Food and Wine Festival at Epcot, and I had a great time. I ate and drank myself around the world in one day! |
