If it's a macro shot then of course!
Prepare yourself for 600 pictures of bugs. |

I suspect there will be a lot of insects in this challenge, it's a natural subject for macro. It's a good opportunity to find something really unusual. I have a few ideas... Lots of interesting looking junk lying around at work. |

Oooh, I was pumped when I saw this challenge today. Got a shot worth entering a few hours later. We'll see what the rest of the week brings...
Entry #11.

If they would do the macro challenge in the dead of winter you could eleminate half the bug shots... of course there is always the other half of the world that isn't in winter. But isn't only 300 shots of bugs better than 600?

I hope you did it with your P&S, instead of that 5D. |

The good news is that I think I have a nice entry for this. The bad news is, it's a bug shot. |

One can use a zoom lense to meet this challenge right?
If I read it right, one doesnt have to use a macro lense but have a closeup of something.
Whats the thought of this? |

I think you can get away with a zoom lens. It would be hard to tell if it is a true macro or a close up. |
